This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and share information collected through our website at constructconnect-rconstructionsolutions.com (the "Site") and through our recruiting, supplier sourcing, and subcontractor network services (the "Services").

By using our Site or Services, you agree to this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use our Site or Services.

1. Who We Are

ConneX is the AEC (Architecture, Engineering, and Construction) network sourcing and recruiting division of R. Construction Solutions. We connect general contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, and AEC industry professionals nationwide.

2. Information We Collect

We collect information in three ways: information you provide directly, information collected automatically through technology, and information from third parties.

2.1 Information from Clients (Hiring Companies)

When you engage ConneX to hire talent, source suppliers, or connect with subcontractors, you may provide:

- Name, business name, and role

- Email address and phone number

- Mailing address and project locations

- Job descriptions, hiring needs, and role specifications

- Project details and business context

- Payment information (processed by our payment processor)

- SMS opt-in consent

2.2 Information from Candidates (Job Seekers)

If you submit your information as a candidate, applicant, or job seeker through ConneX, you may provide:

- Name, contact information, and mailing address

- Resume, CV, and work history

- Professional certifications (OSHA, SSHO, PMP, ProCore, Bluebeam, and others)

- Education and training records

- Salary expectations and compensation history

- References and recommendations

- Identifying information needed to verify work authorization (where legally required)

- Background information you voluntarily share

- Project portfolio or work samples

- SMS opt-in consent

We collect candidate information through direct submissions, recruiter outreach, job board applications, referrals, professional networks, and publicly available sources (such as LinkedIn).

2.3 Information Collected Automatically

When you use our Site, we and our service providers automatically collect:

- IP address and approximate location

- Browser type and version

- Device type and operating system

- Pages viewed, time spent, scroll depth, and click behavior

- Referring website or source

- Date and time of access

2.4 Information from Third Parties

3.1 Recruiting and Sourcing Operations

- Match candidates with appropriate hiring opportunities

- Communicate with candidates about open positions and process status

- Share candidate profiles with prospective employers who have engaged our Services (with appropriate disclosures or consent)

- Verify professional credentials and certifications where required by the role

- Conduct background checks (with explicit candidate consent and where legally permitted)

- Build and maintain our pre-vetted talent network for future opportunities

- Source suppliers and subcontractors for hiring clients

3.2 Business Operations

- Respond to inquiries and scheduling requests

- Send appointment confirmations, project updates, and service communications

- Process payments and billing

- Improve our Site and Services

- Comply with legal obligations

- Prevent fraud and abuse

4.1 Sharing Candidate Information with Hiring Clients

When you submit your information as a candidate, we may share relevant information about you with our hiring clients to facilitate matches. This typically includes your resume, professional qualifications, salary expectations, and contact details when there is a credible opportunity.

We will not share your candidate information with a hiring client without either (a) your explicit consent, (b) your prior agreement to be considered for opportunities of this nature, or (c) a reasonable expectation based on the application channel you used.

4.2 Sharing Hiring Client Information

We do not share hiring client information with candidates or third parties except as necessary to fulfill the engagement (for example, sharing a job description with potential candidates) or with the client's consent.

4.3 Service Providers

We share information with third-party companies that perform services on our behalf:

- GoHighLevel (HighLevel Inc.) — CRM, marketing automation, website hosting, form processing, and SMS/email delivery

- Stripe (via our GoHighLevel SaaS integration) — payment processing

- Twilio (via our GoHighLevel integration) — SMS and voice communications infrastructure

- Background check providers — when you have explicitly consented to a background check for a specific role

These providers are contractually limited in how they may use the information.

4.4 Legal Compliance and Safety

We may disclose information if required by law, subpoena, court order, or government request, or if disclosure is necessary to protect the rights, property, or safety of ConneX, our clients, candidates, or the public.

4.5 Business Transfers

If ConneX or R. Construction Solutions is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of business assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction.

4.6 With Your Consent

We may share information for any other purpose with your consent.

5. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

6. SMS / Text Message Communications

7. Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this Privacy Policy, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law:

- Client inquiries and active engagements: Duration of engagement plus 7 years

- Candidate profiles (active): While you remain in our network, plus until you request removal

- Candidate profiles (inactive — no contact for 24 months): Archived and removed after notification, unless you request continued retention

- Marketing list subscribers: Until you unsubscribe, plus 12 months

- Website analytics data: 26 months

- Financial and tax records: As required by applicable law (typically 7 years)

8. Data Security

We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information. However, no system is completely secure. If you have reason to believe your interaction with us is no longer secure, please contact [email protected] immediately.

9. Children's Privacy

Our Site and Services are intended for adults seeking professional opportunities or business engagements. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age of 18. If you believe we have collected information from a minor, please contact us and we will delete it.

10. State-Specific Privacy Rights

Depending on your state of residence, you may have specific rights regarding your personal information.

10.1 California Residents (CCPA / CPRA)

If you are a California resident, you have the following rights:

- Right to Know the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected, the sources, the purposes for collection, and the parties we share with.

- Right to Delete personal information we have collected, subject to exceptions.

- Right to Correct inaccurate personal information.

- Right to Opt Out of Sale or Sharing of your personal information.

- Right to Limit Use of Sensitive Personal Information (which may include employment-related information for candidate users).

- Right to Non-Discrimination for exercising privacy rights.

Categories of personal information collected in the past 12 months include: identifiers (name, email, phone, address, IP), professional and employment-related information (resume, work history, certifications, salary expectations), commercial information (services purchased or inquired about), internet activity (Site browsing behavior), geolocation data (general location based on IP), and inferences drawn from the above.

Categories of sources include: directly from you, automatically through our Site, from job boards and professional networks, from service providers, and from public sources.

Business purposes for collection are described in Section 3 above.

Categories of third parties we share information with are described in Section 4.

We do not sell personal information in exchange for money. We may "share" personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising under California law — you have the right to opt out.

10.2 Virginia Residents (VCDPA)

10.3 Colorado Residents (CPA)

Connecticut residents have rights similar to Virginia and Colorado residents. To exercise these rights, contact [email protected]. We will respond within 45 days.

10.5 Utah Residents (UCPA)

Utah residents have rights to access, delete, obtain a copy of, and opt out of targeted advertising and sale of personal data. To exercise these rights, contact [email protected]. We will respond within 45 days.

10.6 Texas Residents (TDPSA)

Texas residents have rights similar to Virginia and Colorado residents. To exercise these rights, contact [email protected].

10.7 Oregon Residents (OCPA)

Oregon residents have rights similar to Virginia and Colorado residents. To exercise these rights, contact [email protected].

10.8 Other States

We monitor state privacy laws as they evolve. If your state has enacted a consumer privacy law granting you rights regarding your personal information, you may contact us at [email protected] to exercise those rights.

11. Candidate-Specific Rights

In addition to state privacy rights, candidates in our talent network may at any time:

- Update your profile, resume, or contact information by emailing [email protected]

- Withdraw from active consideration for opportunities by request

- Remove your profile entirely from our network by request

- Decline to be shared with specific hiring clients or industries by request

- Request a copy of the information we hold about you

We will honor candidate requests promptly, typically within 30 days, and confirm completion in writing.

12. Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information

ConneX does not sell your personal information for money. However, our use of certain advertising and analytics technologies may constitute "sharing" or "selling" under some state laws.

3. We will process your request within 15 business days

We also honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) browser signals.

13. International Users

Our Site and Services are intended for use in the United States. If you access our Site from outside the U.S., your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States.
